In this workshop, you will learn about the opportunities that can take your students and their Ramapo experience beyond the classroom. In this interactive session, learn about the Honors Program and the many scholarships and fellowships available to high-achieving and highly motivated students. Ramapo is now home to our first Truman Scholar, Gilman Scholar, and more nationally achieving students than ever before! We’ll also explore how Ramapo advisors and faculty support our students in applying for national scholarship and fellowship opportunities which help students pursue academic, professional, and experiential opportunities during their college career and beyond.

What you’ll take away:

• An inside look at the Honors Program, how students can apply and what makes it unique
• Real students experiences about the Honors Program
• Information about the process and the support offered that helps students prepare and apply for Nationally Distinct awards and opportunities
• Hear from students how earning national distinction has helped them and Ramapo excel in their major and interests
